Most people know meta spark studio as a face tracking/filter tool, which allows you to add digital assets that follows your face. But meta spark allows you to do this with your hand as well. So you can add a digital wand in your hand. Additionally, meta spark has facial gestures and interactions capability where you can make a kissing or winking gesture that triggers an action like making digital money fall down from sky. You can also replace the background to transform the environment as well, so it looks like you are in north pole for example. It also has screen interactions as well like tapping or pinching.
Available interaction includes blinking, eyebrows lowering or raising, head nodding, head rotation, head shake, left and right eye closing, mouth opening, making happy face, making a kissing face, smiling, and making surprised face. Screen interactions include object tap, screen tap and hold, screen pan, screen pinch, and screen rotate.
If you click control+alt+p, you’ll go to patch editor or you can go to view->show patch editor. Patch editor panel will show up at the bottom of the viewport. From here, you’ll see add patch at the bottom right or you can simply right click in the patch editor panel. Here, you can click interaction which will take you to all the items we talked about. You can click, blink patch for example. We will go over on how this works in details later, but using these multiple patches, you can make digital assets take action when interaction patch is detected. For example, it can make digital object appear upon blink detecting and disappearing upon another blink.
We talked about importing assets and using these assets, you can use these assets to make 2d/3d effects, sounds, particles, textures, and so on. Meta spark studio also has effects available for you to apply like light effects (ambient, directional, spot, point, and environmental) and texts.
