Script kiddies are amateur individuals who use scripts or programs that’s made by someone else. Since there are a lot of dangerous tools out there available on the internet, especially on the deep web marketplace, they can be a threat. Amateurs can easily conduct a cyber attack as long as they have the tool and a simple direction.
However, for most attacks to properly work these days, payloads have to be tailored for the target and the hacker usually has to recon to gather information about the target first to ensure the payload is correctly developed. There are numerous exploits available that amateurs can utilize, but very few will work blind sighted.
